I bought my shaver in July, but waited until now to give a review, as I didn't want to give a knee-jerk reaction.
I waited because anyone who is changing from using a razor to a shaver needs to get used to it. I'm glad I waited, and I'm glad that I took up a friends recommendation to buy Braun.
I must confess, I don't use the trimmers so cannot comment on them (which is the only reason I didn't score it 10/10, but the shaver feels good in my hand, does a cracking good job around my chops and I'm as much "sold" to the Braun label as I am to Adidas Trainers
The Braun Cruzer 4 shaver looks and feels like a quality product, but its shaving disappoints - the shave is not close enough, leaving stubble on the face and long hairs along the neck.
The beard trimmer attachment is cheap and poorly designed - it's made of fragile plastic, is difficult to clean, and the trimmer length mechanism spring clip of mine broke off within 5 months, rendering the attachment useless and forcing me to buy a new shaver/trimmer.
I've decided not to replace it with Braun.
